UFO&PSI Glossary: X
Glossary comes from latin "glossarium, glossa" (foreign word), and is in fact a list of often difficult-to-understand words followed by their definitions. An encyclopedia of any kind cannot be considered complete without providing a comprehensive glossary.

Xenoglossy: alleged speaking or writing in a language entirely unknown to the speaker, typically related with close encounters with extraterrestrials. Casebook shows such "languages" sometimes similar to "dog barks" (Charles Hall), other times sounding like Chinese (Rosa Lotti Dainelli).
Xenology: the study of extraterrestrial lifeforms, including their biology, psychology, culture, technology and all forms of expressions. Following this definition, other terms such as xenopsychology or xenosociology exist.
