Movies: Star Wars Episode 1
The following is a movie I've watched and reviewed. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not selling DVDs. This is not a list of movies that tell you "the truth about UFOs". Simply said, I like movies. Each review is as simple and non technical as possible.

Description: the opening chapter in the legendary Star Wars saga: two Jedi knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, must rescue the young Queen Amidala and help save her home planet, Naboo, which is under blockade by the avid trade federation. When the federation attacks, the Jedi hide the queen away to relative safety on the desert planet of Tattooine. It is there that Qui-Gon discovers a boy, good pilot, enslaved by evil gambler Watto, who has the potential to become a powerful Jedi himself, Anakin Skywalker.
Episode 1 marks George Lucas' decision to produce the first three episodes of the Star Wars saga. During the movies, we are going to understand the story that brought to the domination of the Empire. It must be said the first episode has been the hardest to produce, having so much to tell, explain and settle. Astounding effects and image quality, wonderful locations.
If there's something I can criticize though, is the aliens speaking English, instead of alien languages like in the original saga. Jar Jar Binks is the funny addition, like the Ewoks in Episode VI, with a sort of irritating voice. Some appearently are disturbed by him, but I'm not. Pity the movie doesn't explore his culture enough. Pity that the movie won't tell much about Darth Maul, pity it won't tell much about anyone. Pity Jake Lloyd can't act. A curiosity, since I'm Italian: Queen Amidala's palace on Naboo is, in fact, Palazzo Reale in Caserta!
