Movies: The Blair Witch Project
The following is a movie I've watched and reviewed. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not selling DVDs. This is not a list of movies that tell you "the truth about UFOs". Simply said, I like movies. Each review is as simple and non technical as possible.

Description: three film students set out into the Black Hills Forest to make a documentary on the legendary Blair Witch. Armed with a 16mm camera, a Hi8 video camera and a DAT recorder, every moment is captured on video. After wandering around the Black Hills Forest, Heather, Josh, and Mike are cold, lost and hunted. Finally, one night after the last ray of light had left the forest black, they simply disappear. One year later, a bag full of film cans, DAT tapes and video tapes is found...
I do believe this is a brilliant movie: actors are spontaneous, filming absolutely rough, close to the "cinéma vérité", with no cutting and using consumer cameras. We are abducted by the story, we are not told what's really happening. It's like living the adventure, feeling lost together with the three young. OK, there is no blood, no stunning effects, no action but I am convinced the horror lies within the situation: lost and persecuted by someone you don't know and you're too scared to meet.
