Miss Chris MacNeill, actress, finds out her daughter Regan has the signs of an illness. Doctors don't have an explanation and are wordless. Despite this, the girl goes on featuring weird powers like levitation, superhuman strenght and lots more. Science gives up at last, while a priest-exorcist is called. Initially skeptic, Father Karras asks the help of expert exorcist Father Merrin: they quickly realize this is not a case of simple mental disorder.

This movie is a true horror. The possession scenes are absolutely realistic and troubling to watch: Regan's spider, walk for instance, is one scene. to no miss The voice of evil makes you tremble. We are brought slowly to the violence of the Devil for good. An anti-Evil movie that explores the darkest sides of humanity, between faith and evil. Visual effects are used to express the wildest evilness humanity can imagine: from the purity of a child to the rough madness that ruins her body and life. Linda Blair's performance is brilliant and convincing.

Zeta Reticuli PDF Print E-mail
Reticulum constellation, 113 light years away from our Solar System. Discovered in 2001 through Doppler Spectroscopy, sources like the Hills claim this (Zeta 4 in particular) is the home of an alien species called the Grays (or Zetas). Over the years Zeta Reticuli has become a myth among UFO enthusiasts. Following the lunatic fringe of ufology, the US Government made a deal with the Grays, allowing them to abduct people. Serious researchers regard these claims as nonsense.

An Experience Of Phantoms
  • Full title: An Experience Of Phantoms.
  • Year: 1974.
  • Language: English.
  • Author: Scott D. Rogo.
  • Publisher: Taplinger Publishing Company, USA.
  • ISBN: 0800824709.
  • Price: 12 € (out of print).
Written by an experienced and extensively published investigator of psychic phenomena, this is a well documented account of the appearance of phantoms as apparitions of both the living and dead, poltergeists, animal materializations, hauntings and out-of-the-body experiences.

Rogo's style is pleasant to read. I have been lucky enough to once find, by hazard, an old Italian translation of the book. Very interesting reading, because most cases included are nowadays classics and rarely mentioned. Front cover design shows some creativity. A must have.
